Thank you for your generous support. Ironwood Tree Experience is on track to attain independent 501(c)3 status by September 2014! Until then ITE attains 501(c)3 status all donations made to Ironwood Tree Experience will be administered by the Gila Watershed Partnership of which 100% of the donation will go directly to Ironwood Tree Experience for intended use of funds. Your donations are tax deductible!

ITE has 4 very specific donation campaigns under way. You can provide unique and essential experiences for Tucson teens on behalf of our mission to,  ”inspire young people to flourish by engaging with nature and becoming mindful stewards of the environment at home, in their community, and around the world.”

#1 Charter Memberships- provide critical resources for the start-up of the new ITE nonprofit organization. Individuals and foundations that invest $5000 or more solidify an enduring relationship with the ITE community of young people, staff, Board of Directors, and community partners. Charter Members receive invitations, in perpetuity, to ITE special programming and events, donor appreciation gatherings, and if you choose, acknowledgement on the ITE website and year-end newsletters. If you are interested in becoming a charter member and empowering ITE to work hard for our youth and our community, please contact us. We want to meet with you. Please call Eric or Suzanne at 520-271-5748 or through this form

#2 Global Experience~Costa Rica- the experiences of a lifetime first begins with a journey. ITE in partnership with City High School is taking 11 Tucson teens to Costa Rica to experience, culture and tropical ecology. For questions about the Costa Rica Campaign please call Eric at 520-271-5748  or visit our fabulous Indiegogo on-line donation page!

#3 Youth Scholarships- individuals, foundations and businesses can provide levels of funding to youth for a full year access to ITE outdoor programs. All youth who  choose to participate in ITE are able to do so through contributions. In 8+ years ITE has not turned a single youth away due to lack of funds and we do not intend to do so now. Contributions for scholarships can be donated anonymously in which case funds will be added to the “Community Scholarship Fund” or individuals, families, foundations and business may set up their own “named” scholarship fund.

All youth interested in scholarships must fill out an applications for awards $50 or greater. Individuals, families, foundations and business that establish named scholarships will receive a thank you letter from the youth that received a scholarship. If you are interested in setting up a scholarship fund as an individual, family, foundation, business or in honor of someone or something- please contact us!

#4 Program Vehicles- this campaign will help provide more teens, especially those with limited access to transpiration, to explore the deserts, mountains, and canyons. ITE is seeking 2 15-passenger vans years 2012 through 2014.

ITE is also seeking a truck and enclosed trailer to haul gear for community action projects that improve our neighborhoods and schools for youth, nature and community.
