Youth Take Action Against Climate Change with the University of Arizona Southwest Center on Resilience for Climate Change & Health Workshop!
Create real solutions to climate change that can help kickstart action being taken in your community!
Participants in this workshop will:
- Connect with other young people in your area
- Work with Ironwood Tree Experience staff to develop your ideas into community projects to combat climate change
- Learn from experts how climate change affects your health
Eligibility: This program is full
When: September 6, 9am-3pm
Where: Ironwood Tree Experience, Suite 101, 738 N. 5th Avenue Tucson, AZ 85705
Who: Youth ages 15-18
Transportation: The program will begin and conclude at Ironwood Tree Experience (Historic Y, 738 N. 5th Ave, 85705). All participants must coordinate their own transportation.
Compensation: All participants who complete the survey and the workshop will receive $100 for their time. Can’t come to the workshop? You can still complete the Youth Climate Health Survey & receive $25 for your input!
