ECOPROGRAM SCHOLARSHIPS for ITE YOUTH MEMBERS

National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) – (THIS OPPORTUNITY EXPIRED) all expense paid program to any ITE youth summer program within the continental US and Alaska! Due March 6, 2015.

The Dustin & Kristen Yoder Memorial Scholarship awarded 5, $400 need-based Scholarships for the May 25-June 1 SW Cultures Expeditionary Experience EcoProgram! The applications were due March 24, 2015. On-line Application available HERE

The Robert Scott Kehrer Memorial Scholarship is offering need-based full or partial Scholarship for ITE youth participating in Pathfinder, Expeditionary Experience and Global/American X EcoProgram. On going as funds remain available.

DESIGN AN ECOPROGRAM

So here is your opportunity to design an Discovery or Explorer level EcoProgram for you and your friends. Here is the deal. If you design an EcoProgram that is approved by ITE staff and voted for by six or more ITE members then we will post it as an EcoProgram offering on our website! The best part is that you get to go for free!

EcoProgram Design for Members

ITE youth members get to design Discover and Explorer level EcoPrograms! Submission will be reviewed by ITE staff, approved and the voted on by their peers. If selected ITE will offer the EcoProgram and the designer gets to participate for free.
  • DISCOVERY - Single day, active, non-technical backcountry and urban outings. Discovery EcoPrograms develop outdoor skills, a knowledge of wild surroundings and new friendships. EXPLORER - Overnight camping. Provides experiences and skills in backcountry situations within the desert, woodlands and grasslands of SE Arizona. Participants engage in wildland explorations, establishing campsites, teamwork, cooking, cleaning and hikes.
