Who We Serve~Ironwood Tree Experience Green Audits are for Tucson area companies interested in:

Who We Are~Ironwood Tree Experience (ITE), a project of the Center for Children and Nature at Prescott College, connects kids with community through experiences in nature. Prescott College is a 501 (c) 3, non-profit educational institution.
Proceeds from Green Audits stay in your community and go directly into ITE programming and scholarships!

Ironwood Tree Experience Green Audits provides top service to our customers while integrating a cascading network of practical learning opportunities for community members. Through the auditing process college students and teens learn professional skills and put those skills to work. All students work alongside ITE Green Audits professionals.
College Interns - Prescott College and University of Arizona Students seeking degrees in Environmental Studies and Sustainability participate in aspects of the auditing process to gain experience and appreciation of combining passions for a healthy community with the economic and technical realities of business operations.
ITE Eco-program teens - Tucson Area Teens involved in eco-programs become familiar with the challenges and opportunities of “going green”. Teens may help out with on-site auditing and even installation certain of on-site projects.
GreenAudits Team
Eric Dhruv is Co-director of Ironwood Tree Experience and faculty at Prescott College Tucson Center. He was employed by the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum as an environmental educator and interpretive manager working with community members of all ages. Eric went on to earn an M.A. from Prescott College in Environmental Studies and has served as Sustainability Director at Miraval Life in Balance in Catalina, Arizona. He is LEED accredited and a member of the Tucson branch of the US Green Building Council chapter. Eric hosts the local Tucson TV program “Desert Living” and 92.9 The Mountain’s Green Tuesday, both of which highlight sustainability concepts and connections with the Tucson community.
Manuel Patiño is a long time resident of Tucson and brings over 40 years experience in engineering and construction to ITE Green Audits. Manuel is passionate about efficient, effective design and building techniques and believes in the opportunities afforded to business and the community through sustainable practices. Putting theory into practice Manuel is in the final stages of a home construction project in which he acted at architect, contractor and builder.
James MacAdam earned a degree in Environmental Studies from Prescott College in 2001 and since then he has pursued a diverse career as a naturalist, plant biologist, yoga instructor, freelance writer and sustainability advocate. He founded a successful sustainability program at Sierra Tucson, a 300-employee mental health care facility, and is now a project manager for rainwater harvesting nonprofit Watershed Management Group. Certified in Permaculture Design and a LEED-Accredited Professional, James loves working with people to bring the ideas of sustainability into practical reality. James began working with ITE GreenAudits in the summer of 2008.
