Community Projects
GreenLots! and Farmers’ Markets
GeenLots!
GreenLots! is a new community project that partners ITE with Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and members of the community that have interest in donating time and money to the rehabilitation and restoration of the many small, empty gravel and dirt lots scattered around town.
Every ITE program include teen contributions in the community that require both physical and mental activities. GreenLots! are not intended to be a prescriptive process, rather teens are asked to engage with the residents around the lots and determine what rehabilitation will look like and who will benefit from GreenLots! projects.
